One of the most popular places to find nutritionist jobs is Monster. A quick search on Monster for "nutrition" within 10 miles of my suburban home pulled up a whopping 933 jobs! Now some of these aren't traditional nutritionist jobs, but they involve health and nutrition of some kind.
I found some great nutritionist jobs in my search. First, New England Medical Center in Boston is looking to fill nutritionist positions. The job description is:
Provides nutritional assessment, support, and consultation to patients and families seen for follow-up in the department of Pediatrics, Division of Metabolism & Division of Gastroenterology (GI) clinics & physicians. Based on clinical data, physicians orders, and patients life style of living, develops with patient or caretaker(s) a realistic plan for adherence to a medically prescribed metabolic or GI regime. services as a nutrition resource in Pediatric Metabolism & Pediatric GI for staff, students, and appropriate community groups. Bachelors degree in Human Nutrition, Masters Degree preferred. Registered dietician by the American Dietic Association. Mass license Dietician/Nutritionist.
Note that you need to be a licensed nutritionist or dietician in Massachusettes in order to apply. This may be a limitation as you look for a nutritionist job if you are moving to a new state.
